Four calculators on one page. Container loading works out how many cartons fit and shows the packing in 3D. Tightening torque is built from the thread geometry and the proof strength of the property class. Thread gives pitch and tapping drill. Converter handles inch fractions and across-flats.
Torque comes from the thread geometry and the property class, not from a lookup table: stress area from the pitch diameter, proof load from stress area times proof strength, torque from T = K x d x F. The nut factor K is the one input that is not a standard value - it depends on plating and lubrication, so it is yours to set.
Theoretical figures. For safety-critical joints the torque is set by testing the actual joint. Yield-point and angle-controlled tightening are outside this tool.

Metric coarse pitch per ISO 261, fine pitches per ISO 262. Tapping drill for a cut thread is nominal diameter minus pitch. A rolled (forming) tap needs a larger hole - use the tap maker's data.

Not yet. It packs one carton size per run, which covers most shipping enquiries. For a mixed load, calculate each carton type separately and add the container counts.
Supplier tables pick a nut factor and a percentage of proof load without always saying which. This tool shows both, so you can see what assumption produced the number.
No. Nominal minus pitch is for a cut tap. A forming (rolled) tap displaces material instead of removing it, so the hole is larger and comes from the tap manufacturer.
It is packed cargo volume divided by container internal volume. Real loading rarely exceeds about 85 percent because of pallets, dunnage and door access.
